Shipping Policy

1. Where We Ship

We ship only to addresses within the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. We do not ship internationally, and we do not ship to freight forwarders. We cannot ship to APO, FPO, or DPO addresses at this time.

2. Shipping Rates

One-time orders: standard shipping is a flat rate of $5.95 per order, applied at the same rate to all destinations we serve, including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.

Auto-Refill orders: standard shipping is free on every Auto-Refill shipment, including the first. There is no order-value threshold for this benefit.

Express shipping: $12.95 per order when selected at checkout. Express shipping is not included in the Auto-Refill free standard shipping offer. Available methods are shown at checkout.

3. Order Processing

Orders are processed on business days, which are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. Orders typically leave our fulfillment center within one to two business days of being placed. Orders placed after our daily cutoff, on a weekend, or on a holiday are processed on the next business day.

4. Delivery Estimates

Once shipped, domestic orders typically arrive within three to seven business days. Deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico may take longer.

Delivery estimates are estimates only. They are not guaranteed. Carrier delays, weather, and periods of high volume can extend transit times, and we do not control carrier performance.

5. Tracking

You will receive a shipping confirmation email containing a tracking number when your order leaves our fulfillment center. Tracking information may take up to twenty four hours to update after the number is issued.

6. Address Accuracy

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. If a shipment is returned to us or delayed because of an address error, we will reship it once you provide a corrected address, and we may charge a second shipping fee.

If you need to correct an address, email support@betterdogshop.com immediately. We can usually make changes only before an order has shipped.

7. Lost, Delayed, and Damaged Shipments

If tracking shows no movement for seven business days, or if your order arrives damaged, email support@betterdogshop.com with your order number. We will work with the carrier to locate the shipment and will replace or refund the order where a shipment is confirmed lost or arrives damaged.

8. Marked Delivered but Not Received

If tracking shows delivery but you have not received the package, please check with others at the address and with your building management, and allow one additional business day, since carriers occasionally scan a package before the final delivery attempt. If it does not arrive, contact support@betterdogshop.com and we will help resolve it.

9. Title and Risk of Loss

Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. Notwithstanding this provision, we will assist with, and where appropriate remedy, lost and damaged shipments as described in Section 7.

10. Taxes

Applicable state and local sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address and is shown before you complete your purchase.
